The Good & The Not So Good

What We Love
The sense of community! Burlington is safe, accessible, and has lots of green spaces and local festivals throughout the year.

What We Don't
We won’t lie, commuting to Toronto from here won’t be fun – and exciting nightlife doesn’t really exist as much here, either.
What About The Neighbourhoods?
Burlington has a handful of great neighbourhoods, as follows:
Millcroft
Centred around the Millcroft Golf Course, this area of Burlington is picture perfect and ideal for young families (thanks to the nearby elementary schools and high school right close by).
Aldershot
The commuting heart of the area, Aldershot is home to the local GO station (into Toronto) and is known for its vibrant mix of green spaces. You’ll find condos, homes for any budget, and more here.
Downtown
Downtown Burlington sits right on the water, and has an incredibly charming selection of stores and boutiques there. Take a walk down the Brant Street Pier and try telling us you’re not in love!
Lakeshore
Burlington is defined by Lakeshore Road, which spans neighbourhoods like Roseland, Strathcona Gardens, and Elizabeth Gardens – so many options and so many beautiful views await!

Our Local Favourites

What do we do when we’re spending a day in Burlington? First, it all starts down by the water. Burlington has a beautifully revitalized downtown space, right on the lake, that makes it perfect for a quick stroll (or to soak up the sun).
Then, maybe check out the Art Gallery of Burlington, head to the Royal Botanical Gardens, or visit Bronte Creek Provincial Park for a hike.
After a meal at Spencer’s Restaurant, you’ll have gotten a real taste of what it’s like to live in Burlington full time.
